The Program

SILTA Female Fellows is a three-week program for Finland's most ambitious Female Fellows. The program is aimed at females looking to found their startups within the next year or two but are still missing the last piece of confidence or knowledge.

During the program, you'll gain access to mentorship and the San Francisco startup ecosystem, allowing you to get the confidence, connections, and tools needed to take your idea to reality at a global level.

During the program you will:

  • Learn concrete steps to build your venture from the top founders in San Francisco
  • Gain deeper knowledge of fundraising from local investors
  • Expand your global network with world-class mentors who've built and scaled successful startups
  • Receive validation for your idea from experts

What?

SILTA Female Fellows takes place in San Francisco during March 2026. The program includes 5–7 weekly sessions organized with top names from the local startup scene. Participants will also have time to validate their ideas and attend industry events relevant to their fields of interest. SILTA provides the housing, so participants get to share the experience together.

When?

March 5–25 aligning with Women's History Month in San Francisco and the International Women's Day.

For whom?

Ambitious, driven women with relevant experience in the startup ecosystem who are ready to launch and scale a startup within the next years and eager to leverage mentorship, networks and resources to turn their ideas into successful ventures.

You are eligible to apply if you meet the following criteria:

  • Finnish citizen or resident
  • Over 18 years old
  • Identify as female or nonbinary
  • Valid ESTA or US visa for program duration
  • Available for the full program and for an orientation day held about a week before departing for San Francisco

Having a validated idea or an established company is not required, but we encourage you to have a grasp of a relevant industry or some ideas to explore and validate during the program. That way, you'll gain much more value from the expert sessions and events.
